PDI was just ok but only small issues like changing the bathroom handle!!Also I pull my Honda CRV 2014 with no problem and it’s cheap on gas, Strongly recommended that year precisely

I like the floor plan, also like the style. But the company itself does not stand behind their product. Very poor workmanship no quality control. This could be a very nice motorhome. If they would put some quality behind it. For example, the interior fell apart in three years, the vinyl all delaminated. The floor structure on my unit was only spot welded. Someone forgot to go back and finish a welds before they installed the floor trusses, so the reinforcement struts all broke out of their spot Wells the structure cracked , compartments sagged, after that water gets pumped in from the tires if you’re driving in the rain. And Winnebago will not stand behind their screwup I would suggest finding a company with more pride in there coach. It’s a shame that a company that’s been around more than 50 years put out this poor quality of a product. I can’t imagine COMPANY) staying in business that way.

have driven it over 11,000 miles all over the country with little or minor issues - I had an issue with 2 of the basement doors opening during travel - Winnebago had a recall on the doors Colonial RV in New Jersey put secondary locks on all basement doors under warranty with no cost to me. Great place. I take it to a Freightliner Repair shop every 6500 miles (3X since purchase)for an oil change & lube along with other PM items
wash & wax every couple of months & keep the seals clean
If you take care of the mechanicals it will take care of you. Good Reliable Machine
The Freightliner shops have been knowledgeable & friendly & Colonial RV in southern NJ easy to work with
Wholesale Warranty- extended warranty not so good. Had a DEF fitting crack @ the ejection line fitting going into the exhaust- they stated not covered because it is part of exhaust system. It is not its part of environmental control system- using their logic the turbo charge would be part of exhaust. If you need parts you wouldn’t find them in the exhaust section
Good Machine reasonably Priced still having fun with it. Currently stored indoors for the Winter first 2024 trip March 30th to South Carolina

The Winnebago Horizon 40A is more than just an RV; it is an ode to opulence, a nod to nomadic elegance, and a testament to top-tier craftsmanship. A veritable palace on wheels, this model seamlessly blends the convenience of home with the thrill of the open road.
From the outside, the sleek and modern profile immediately catches the eye. Gone are the days of bulky and boxy RVs. The Horizon 40A presents itself with an aerodynamic design, accentuated with subtle lines and sophisticated color schemes, that promises both style and efficiency. The underbelly storage compartments are expansive, allowing travelers to carry with them all the comforts they wish.
Step inside, and you're immediately greeted by a spacious and well-lit interior, reminiscent of a high-end apartment. The use of polished wood, chrome finishes, and soft-touch materials exudes luxury at every corner. The attention to detail is evident, from the intuitive layout to the quality of fixtures and fittings.
The master suite, a haven in itself, boasts a king-sized bed with premium bedding that ensures restful nights after long journeys. The accompanying master bathroom, with its spacious shower and high-end fixtures, rivals what one would find in upscale hotels.
The living area is nothing short of magnificent. With plush seating, a state-of-the-art entertainment system, and panoramic windows, it provides a perfect setting for both relaxation and entertainment. The kitchen, fitted with modern appliances and ample counter space, would excite even the most discerning of chefs. It truly redefines gourmet cooking on the go.
But the Horizon 40A isn't just about luxury; it's about performance too. The smooth ride, responsive handling, and robust engine ensure that journeys are as pleasurable for the driver as they are for the passengers. Safety features, both standard and optional, are plentiful, giving travelers peace of mind as they traverse the highways and byways.
In a world where the journey is often just as important as the destination, the Winnebago Horizon 40A ensures that every moment on the road is an experience in itself. It's not just an RV; it's a lifestyle statement for those who demand the best. Kudos to Winnebago for setting the horizon even higher for luxury motorhome travel.

Space is snug while traveling, but opens up nicely when parked. 10 gallons of hot water with either propane or 110 volt is great, power connections adjust on the management panel to what is available. While working in Nebraska in the summer the Coleman basement Heat pump system worked great, heat index at 110 deg. kept inside at 72 no problem. Bathroom has a oversized shower, nice ceramic toilet. Bedroom nice Queen size bed with separate controls for comfort, and storage under. Kitchen has a 3 burner cook top, Microwave/convection oven. We chose a pod type coffee maker for our own use. Surround sound radio / TV/ DVD in the living room is great. Drivers area has all the controls you need, with good back up camera, adjustable heated mirrors, pull down side shades, motorized front shades for both driver and passanger.

Winnebago is a standard for the RV industry. They have been around forever and make a good quality product. The cabinetry is beautiful and for a moderately priced class A motorhome, you get a lot for you money. This particular vehicle has a new engine with only 13000 miles on it due to a bad oil change done by and independent company. They replaced the engine at their cost. This particular unit has new a/c and batteries throughout. They have kept all the repair receipts and also have a vin checkup showing the unit has never been in an accident.
