I bought this Starcraft Launch 17 QB and had no complaints about the unit for the most part. The trailer pulled well and no issues with any appliances or electrical. No leaks or structure issues. I didn’t keep the unit for very long however, it seemed solid. The only main complaint I have is the propane mount could have been more user friendly when exchanging tanks and it could have used larger tires. The floor plan was perfect.

We are very happy with our camper. We are fortunate to have camped for a year with no problems. We had one Recall and currently getting it fixed. The layout is perfect and considered a couples trailer. We pull it with a Ford F-150, tow package and sway bars and no problems. My wife also drives and feels safe while pulling it. We are puzzled why we do not see more Starcrafts in the campgrounds or on the roads. The price was right and it had many of the same features the more expense one had for sale. The floor plan is awesome, couch and slide out works great and gives great amount of room. I do wish the water heater was also electric instead of just gas. Overall, a fun camper without breaking the bank.

27bhuThis was full of defects and issues. From the day I brought it home. Started noticing. Don’t be fooled you call Starcraft to explain they say take it to dealer. You do that no issues fixed dealer lies and says they will fix them to no avail. There was a saw cut through the colon from factory all doors leaked constant slide out leak doors falling apart inside water pump works when it wantS. Atenna picks nothing up bubbles in filon. Windows all leak water. The floor under windows feels as if it’s swelling. There was a leak in the underbelly. The camper is a nightmare. I would stay away if even considering. Worst camper I have ever owned and or seen. Problems galore with no help from manufacturers. The service departments just say sell it and run. Thanks for all the help. The manufacturer says take it to dealer have them confirm the problems and we will fix them. You take it to the dealers they tell you well if we can’t duplicate your intermittent issues then we have to charge you an hour diag for each one. My advice is stay as far away from Starcraft as possible. I have called six on you side and plan on doing way more.

We bought our 2018 Launch 21fbs new last Fall and have since spent 43 days in it, camping from Ohio to Florida, Alabama and Indiana. We love our Launch! It's our "happy place". It's held up well, and we've driven (foolishly) in torrential rain, spent some really cold/hot nights and been through mountains with it. It has everything you need and is easy to pull and set up. No $100,000 truck required. The double axel is nice to have. The refrigerator, freezer, ac, and furnace all work well. The furnishings are easy to clean and look nice. I love having a bathroom with a sink, the water heater is great. Having an outdoor shower is nice, too. The sound system is a luxury, although we didn't realize we had the outdoor speakers on when we were watching movies late at night (oops!). Wishlist items: a longer mattress and more drawer space. Other than that, we're happy with our little vacation home and our experience has been really good. We have previously tent camped, and have owned two pop-up campers. We are in our 60s.

Starcraft is a company that have been bought by big brands 3 times in the last two years. Poorly made, you really don't see quality or design with intelligence. The sofa is so badly designed that when you gold it out to make it bed... It's not flat... The back of the sofa is higher than the sitting place. Beneath the sofa there is a huge space doing nothing and covered so you can not use it at all. The cabinets in the kitchen area or bathroom area are full filled with the cables and the hoses or pumps.... Seriously take a look on that. Starcraft have become the black sheep of the family owner of the brand. They are using the good will of the brand but the fabrication is one of the cheapest in the market.

Black tank failed within a couple of weeks of new purchase and sewage went literally everywhere. Entire undercarriage covered and pooled in the belly liner. Eight calls over two days before we could get a response from the selling dealer in Valdosta Georgia. They tell us to bring it in next week and they'll get a look at it. All this in the setting of having let them talk us into their enhanced service plan. Called the manufacturer who basically tells us too bad they can't do anything about poor service after the sale. We're in GA for three months on an assignment. This thing was supposed to be our living quarters for the duration. Now we have a brand new expensive unlivable travel trailer...
