Don't buy a KZ unit. From the day I picked it up there were problems. I bought it new from a dealer. 1/ the flooring was covering a heating vent. It was never cut our and a cover never put on it. I was lucky I noticed it before I left the dealer. 2/ The first night I had it it leaked from the skylight in the bathroom. 3/ The floor dips right near the kitchen, it's not level. 4/ The connection under the kitchen table has 2 posts in a socket screwed to the bottom of the table. there were several screws missing from this bottom connection. The table wobbled quite a bit till I fixed it my self. 5/ The propane tanks were 2 years old 6/ Some door latches, hinges lock sockets had 1 screw rather than 2 or more. 7 Cabinet doors don't line up. 8/Kitchen sink drain leaks onto cutlery drawer 9 / Awning posts don't work properly after a years use. 10/ The large slide is defective 11/ It leaks near the space between the slides. It seemed to me it was assembled by someone who did not care about their work and the person that inspected it should have been fired for missing so many defects. I would never buy a KZ trailer again.

Avoid this Manufacture. I bought my KZ trailer March 25th 2018. This season we noticed the decals are pealing and has made the whole trailer look 15 years old. I have had a number of campers ask how old my trailer is due to the poor look of the outside. I reached out to KZ to get them replaced. This is what I was told word for word. 'Thank you for supply the photos. I’ve reviewed your history. Your unit was manufactured 8/1/2017. The ending date on your warranty was 3/24/2018. The unit was built 4 years ago and warranty ended almost a year and a half ago. I’m unable to cover the decals under warranty, however, I can sell the decals to you directly." So basically they are saying I bought a trailer with the warranty already ended. I have asked for this to be escalated to a senior manager to discuss and they have now decided to no longer respond to me about the issue with this trailer. I have had a pervious trailer from a better manufacture that never had issues with the decals like this one and that was 10yrs old. Absolutely terrible customer care. There are way better manufactures out there with better customer care.

Just glad hubby is handy, and that has family that worked for Fleetwood/REV or whatever they call themselves now. Sportsman 130RB they didn’t have a drop box for this one.

We needed to stand on 4X4s to cook comfortably. The master bed is easy to get around. We put a 1.5 in. egg carton pad on the mattress for extra comfort. Had no problem with any appliances. Our grandchildren are getting to old to go with us, so we got a small 5th wheel for the two of us. We had a smaller bumper pull with tip out beds on both ends first, we like the bunkhouse much better.

We have become a digital nomad because of the Pandemic. We have been living in the 301 BHKLE full time for 6 months. So far the quality has been "near" perfect. No major issues or defects. We are extremely happy with the quality, functionality and overall livability of the trailer. Small-small issues: 1. Bathroom fan stopped working correctly after 5 months - will be a $20 repair 2. Replace one 12v LED light above dinnette - $15 3. Nothing else !!! Its been a wonderful experience Upgrades we made: 1. Above bed shelf - 6 small bins from target !! 2. Put some shelves in one of the wardrobe closet for bins of clothes instead of hanging 3. Put locking lift arm on the bed storage to hold it up 4. Cutting board added to end of counter 5. Storage/Foot stool for couch area 6. small shelves on the side of the master bed 7. cup holders on each side of couch and master bed 8. Arc shower rod for more room in shower 9. tooth brush and stuff holder for bath 10. magnifying mirror in bath 11. small towel holder in bath 12. Put hinges and finger holes to lift board under dinnette 13. Added angle brace to dinette seating that is against the couch to prevent the thin structure boards from cracking 14. Extra coat hooks on bench near the door.

It’s nice for people who want to stay small but keep all the luxury’s of a larger camper. I have a full size truck so it’s like it’s not there. The bed is comfortable for myself my wife and our 2 dogs it’s a bit tight but it will work. Here’s the bad and for me it’s real bad. The camper sits so low to the ground that it is hard to drain your grey and black tanks. We have the side Winder to keep a nice slope for the “water” to drain out of, BUT it is so low to the ground that I can’t use it so the drainage hose is flush with the ground and it will just sit unless you pick it up and drain it. Good news is you can lift the camper 5-6 inches so it is higher and that should do the trick. It also drags bumper if your not careful. It’s a nice little camper amazing for a beginner who is solo or a couple with no kids/1 young kid. I love our camper but if I were to go back I’d buy something else because it would be easier.

Beware! I had an accident with my KZ Travel Trailer which damaged the right rear corner that required parts (siding an miscellaneous trim pieces) from KZ. The repair was to be done at their authorized dealer. The repair was ordered in October of 2019. In JUNE of 2020, KZ notified their dealer that parts were no longer available for a 2015 Sportsman Trailer. This Trailer was only FOUR years old when parts were ordered and KZ does not have parts available. I would caution anyone considering buying anything KZ that they provide NO SUPPORT for their product. If I had known how awful their customer service is, I certainly would choose ANY other brand. I am not left with their dealer looking to scrounge parts from 3rd party sources. NOT acceptable. Be warned, this is truly a case of CUSTOMER BEWARE!

As of this the review the camper has not left my yard. Picked up new from dealer 4/2020. Upon getting camper ready for use found out how poor it is. Materials used to build the unit appear to be average quality but how it is built is another question, poorly to say the least. here are just a few issues, first time getting into the bed corner pushed in due to plywood hatch being cut incorrectly and hinge only attached with 5 screws, moldings are missing in 3 areas, flooring puffed, closet bar miss installed, water tank hold down loose, missing sealant around air conditioner, only one screw holding microwave tray, wrong size screws used throughout the camper and really cheesy ceiling vents with no fans. All this and we have not even turned on anything yet or used it. Most of the issues would not exist if KZ had even a slight amount of quality control. The Company also cut corners by not installing a few basic items, Ex, Range Hood, Ladder to Roof, Bathroom Sink, Metal Kitchen Sink and Faucet, Inset Fire Extinguisher. If you want Poor Build Quality and Corners Cut this is the unit for you!

Since day one this unit has given us issues, floor was ripped out because of a screw in dinette, adhesive paper on all cabinets warped, kitchen sink always loose and not properly caulked, outdoor kitchen warped due to caulking not installed around sink properly, the bathroom black water gauge has never read properly always reads 1/2, the roof flapped over 13 months into ownership insurance stated it was a warranty issue, warranty stated its not.the decals outside of unit have all peeled, screw are always falling out of the exterior bottom trim, unit was in out of shop, nothing was fixed, during the year warranty, extended warranty is a bigger joke.meam while no one is owning up to this lemon. It was made cheap, not sold cheap. Be careful when buying , what the salesman fails to tell you it that even minor repairs could keep your unit in repair shop for months. Theres just not enough time or space to adress my experience with this unit This adds up, prevents full access and usage of your unit. If your like me aNd cant afford to leave it in shop long periods of time due to travel etc, you will be screwed. As warranty will ride out.I. Feel as if they intentionally do this to ride out the repairs, warranty and costs out of pocket. My advice buy an older unit, new ones are not made like they used to be. I handmade numerous attempts to get this resolved, I have yet recieved a response.
