The size, floorplan, colors, weight were the attraction. We like the chaise lounge option and not having a table in a "fixed location." We have spent over 65 nights in it and towed over 8,000 miles so far. Adequate storage. Bath & shower are just fine. We replaced the mattress day 1. Has attracted admiration of other campers, but unfortunately we can't recommend it. Functionally, it's been a disaster. Initially heater failed to reach any set temp due to a poorly engineered factory installation (heater itself worked). Neither dealer nor factory had an answer, we ended up re-engineering and correcting the installation ourselves (long story), solved, painfully (months), hence 1 star ratings. Electronic thermostat (controls both AC & Heat) not sensitive enough. Both heat and A/C very noisy, cannot correct. Refrigerator (NorCold) failed twice, first control panel, then cooling unit, awaiting another warranty repair. Ongoing problem from day 1 that has interrupted many outings. No provision for gravity fill of fresh water tank, can't prefill tank (water lost through vent tube) and they don't want you to carry water in tank while towing (claim brackets can't support the weight). This requires a lot of planning as many campgrounds in the west don't have pressurized water readily available. Cheapo bath vent fan, really, to be replaced eventually. Sound bar (inside), speakers (outside) not very good quality sound. TV has worked fine. Shower door fell apart but was repaired on the road. Structurally the unit has remained intact, no leaks. Black aluminum skirting had heat related expansion buckle on right side, several screws lost on both sides. Slide out still works but you have to be careful with movement end points.

I received a pop up i would heard back from them in 72 hours. As of now, it been close to 100 hour. I am having issue with my led lights inside and i emailed them how to fix the issue. this is a safety concern of some one could getting hurt for imporoper lighting operation. I would not recommend buying an RV from Highland Ridge Customer Service rates 1-10 they would rate 0. Very poor customer service. Returning customers what keep company in business. I am planning on buying another new Fifth wheel this year and it will not be a Highland Ridge Product because they don't take care of their existing customers. Stay away do not buy Hightland Ridge.

So I will make it know on as many sights as I can find.

There is a lot to like about a Mesa Ridge 212FB. First trip (3 weeks, with and without full hook ups) exposed some issues. 1. Somewhat insensitive digital thermo controls both heat and A/C. With call for heat blower starts (noisy) and burner cycles on/off while blower runs continuously (ridiculously long battery killing cycle). Two weeks into the trip the heater died completely with no user serviceable options. 2. Fresh water loss, fill tank, drive 200 miles, no water! Found later there is a vent tube flaw dealer is aware of, water goes out vent tube. 3. No provision for gravity fill of fresh water tank (really, no kidding!), only option is pressurized hose fill. Between 1, 2, & 3 the trip had to be cut short. Dealer has 5 week service backlog so trailer is out of service until repaired.

We purchased this unit from a SLC dealer last year right after Christmas with the intent it would be our "retirement" home for full time RVing. Great floorplan and options, very easy to tow. But lots of little nit-picky problems resulting in several return trips to dealer to fix, and we are 250 miles away so it is quite expensive to do so. The biggest problem however is the vinyl cover over the dinette slide out on the curb side. The cover was curling up at the leading edge. We had noticed it during the original sales view but the salesman advised it was due to the extreme cold and no heat in the unit. The walk thru service rep also said the same thing, and that it would lie down once the unit warmed up. Wrong! We brought it back to be fixed and the dealer and Jayco/Highland Ridge denied warrant saying it was to design specs. We discovered the cover was hitting the base of the kitchen island when the slide out was retracted. After discussion with both companies again, they still insisted it was to design specs. Further research by myself, I found the cover was 3/4" longer than the opening between the slide out and the kitchen island. This is a major trip hazard and safety issue. After nearly a year the raised edge is nearly 2" in height. Again both companies are denying there is an issue despite photographs and specifics on measurements. Now neither will return my phone calls or emails. Nice unit but no product support at all. Time for a lawyer I guess.

We bought our 2018 Mesa Ridge brand new. We have had nothing but problems each time move it! First trip out, the awning arm broke off of the front of the camper. The Service provider told us the original screws weren’t screwed into wood but just into the fiberglass. We have had the teeth break in one of our slide motors (husband replaced it). The inverter crapped out on us (husband replaced it after first replacing two batteries $$). The leaf spring hanger on one wheel broke (had to be welded). The heater has never worked right, still trying to figure that out after 3 years, (mostly using electric space heaters). Now the latest catastrophe is the front drivers side jack has failed as we were trying to put it on the truck. We had to use two jacks to get it on

I liked the fact that we have two separate bedrooms including master and bunk room, ample storage space, outside kitchen which helps to keep meal preparation messes outside, seating room inside when weather not conducive to outside activities, awning allows large area for outside seating when raining or extremely hot, the outside frig provides drinks and snacks for family without running in and out of trailer, the table with benches in bunk room provide space for children to play board games in their own space, children have room for their games and equipment in bunk room as well as hookup for their own tv, ample windows to provide natural light, and we have found most rv parks provide sufficient space to park. We have 5 children and this model was perfect for our family.

Has a king bed and lots of closet space. We especially love the large master bath. All in all this RV has exceptional storage inside and especially the under storage areas. We installed a Reese Sidewinder king pin so a short bed truck can make those tight turns without worry. Having to sell due to health issues.

We purchased a 2019 Highland Ridge RV Mesa Ridge new Mar. 2019. We have been the owners of this RV for 288 days as of today Dec. 5 2019. 122 days of this time the RV has been at Lazydays at Loveland for repairs . Most recently 72 days waiting outside for the authorization from the manufacturer to repair the leaks last discovered 9/23/2019. It was stored outside for most of the time previous to this. Lazydays discovered at least 8 leaks of water coming in from the outside the last time they checked.. That means that every time it rains water is leaking into the RV. Some water is probably leaking into the inside of the walls and causing mold to form. I am requesting that the manufacturer refund the amount that we paid for the RV or replace it with one of our choice of equal value. According to the information we have been able obtain Jayco has been purchased by Thor
