What piece of garbage. Yes, there are thing I like compared to the one I traded in, but discovered this one is cheaply made. The entry wall is not even straight. Oh well. Guess I got the lemon. But, I don't recommend...there are others out there built better with better warranty service. Show less

We bought our Rockwood new just under 5 years ago. unfortunately, we haven't had the time to really enjoy the unit. it is well-built, attractive and carries the best features. hopefully, we'll sell this unit to some lucky folks quickly, This trailer has everything needed in a smaller, trailer. A 60" x 74" murphy bed doubles as a 74" sofa during the day to accommodate more seating. This unit is equipped with a huge 44" X 85" U shaped dinette for entertaining. You can sleep 4 in this 22'4" trailer while seating 5/6 guests during the day. Also in this trailer is a full bathroom, wardrobe closet, full kitchen with a 12v fridge, and plenty of storage. I just purchased the rv in late fall . Haven’t even used it yet . But I highly recommend that you have someone rebuild the queen bed frame before using. I’m not sure it’ would support my little grandkids let alone two adults. Also find a way to tie down the exterior refrigerator as mine was not . Just bouncing around. I also had the lense of one of my rear running lights missing but forest river did send me another which I installed. I’ll update my review once spring comes and I actually get to use it . Show less

Drove our Alpha wolf thru all 48 states in 2 years and with minimal repairs. Had problem with the electrical fuse box (screws not tight enough) creating a slew of problems. A blown tire is Chicago area…. Really bad freeways. And cables for slides misaligned which is getting fix by insurance. Overall my wife and I absolutely love the trailer. I have 1050 watt of solar a Expion lithium battery rated 360 amp ( could use a second one for truly boon docking)we boon docked 45% of our travel. And a Xantrex inverter sw 3012. I towed it with a Ram Laramie 2500 Hemi …. Sorry no diesel for me for many many reasons. Show less

Love the floor plan the most The Queen size murphy bed is both comfortable and versatile. The 11 cu ft refrigerator freezer works great and runs on 12volt as well as 120vac . The outside mini fridge is perfect for cold drinks qnd snacks. you can even keep a few popsicles in the freezer compartment too. The rear bathroom is large and has its own vanity with sink and medicine caninet. The dinette folds into a bed to sleep an adult or two kids. There is an outside shower with hot and cold water, Also a hookup for an lp gas grill. Also a black tank flush. The holding tanks are ample fir this camper. The AC is powerful, and each roof vent has a small fan. The camper is easy to tow. Dry weight is only 3,100 lbs. It has a rechargeable portable bluetooth speaker to listen to music wherever you want. The cabinet doors over the dinette needed two dampers installed to stay up, but those were less than ten dollars. Show less

This model is a great couples camper and tows great. We love boondocking and traveling the country with this RV. It has a 2 inch lift kit from the factory that provides additional ground clearance. The air conditioning is ducted throughout and provides excellent and comfortable cooling. Show less

We love how easy the R-Pod itows with our SUV since it's so lightweight. The storage under the queen bed is huge, and I like how everything is easily accessible from the outside on either side of the trailer, as well as from inside. This was perfect for our family of three - two adults and one child. We also had two small children sleep on the dinette bed when we were camping with family / cousins. The sink is much roomier than typical rv sinks, and the automatic vacuum feature makes sweeping and keeping the inside clean SUCH a breeze! That is often the most frustrating thing for me as a mom while camping with kiddos running in and out, but not with the automatic vacuum door. The R-Dome is much easier to set up and take town than you would think when you first look at it, if you just watch one of the tutorial videos on YouTube, and we enjoyed how much moreprivacy it gives than a traditional awning, and makes it conducive to extra kiddos sleeping in it as well. Love the design and setup of the trailer but good lord the quality of the plumbing and electrical is just horrible the electrical doesn't have enough power the kitchen and bunk is all run together I use the bunk room as an office so I can't run my computers and coffee pot at the same time or it pops the breaker. But the real problem is the plumbing is just garbage if it has a o ring on it... it has leaked day 1 the shower leaked then the bathroom sink. Then both the toilets connectors leaked then if it hits 40 degrees the hot water heater tries taking a nap. I'm honestly going to trade this thing off I got a new one to avoid this stuff but it's a nightmare of water problems Show less

This trailer was our first leap up from a pop up. We purchased spring of 2018 and have traveled extensively. Home based in NC we've made trips to Michigan's UP and and back down through Wisconsin. Another summer trekked to Maine and the Canadian border. A couple trips to Florida. And many trips to various destinations 2 to 4 hours from home. So this trailer has been over some rough roads and seen a lot of use. It's held up very well in my estimation. We have had a few minor failures but considering it's a small home traveling down the road at 65 mph I would expect that. So we've had several minor failures that I've been able to repair requiring 2-4 hours of my time. We did have a catastrophic tire blow out in Maine a couple years ago on a tire that was properly inflated and showed no signs of impending failure. I think Rockwood is now equipping their RVs with Goodyear tires but the 2018 model came with China bombs on the wheel. We are in the market for a new rig but only because we now need a bunk house for grand children. Otherwise I'd probably keep camping in it for several more years. I hope our nex rig hold up as well as thin one has. To the best of my knowledge my rig came with a 1 year warranty. I have never contacted the dealer or the factory for warranty service or repairs. Anything that needed fixing was just easier and less expensive to do myself. Show less

We bought our rv brand new and have had nothing but issues from the beginning. Our camper sat at the dealership for months after being bought to have manufacturer repairs made. Our Forest River camper is very poor quality and they refuse to fix defects that are their fault. I will never recommend or own another Forest River product. Show less
