Backlight on tachometer is defective upon purchase new. I had to pay diagnostic fee ($165 + tax) to be told instrument cluster needs to be replaced. To do this, because the odometer is part of the cluster the Ford service center must keep the motorhome until a new cluster is ordered, made, delivered and installed so the odometer reading is accurate. Because Ford is having parts problems, I may not see my $155K investment for up to 6 months. When I said that is unacceptable and want the diagnostic fee refunded I was inform the any fees paid by me do not get “reviewed” and refunded until the job is completed! 😱

We owned a 2019 Georgetown 36B5 and while we did enjoy the 2 years we lived in it, it sure didn't start off that way due. The stock Ford F53 chassis does not handle very well which is why it didn't drive very well. The RV was greatly impacted by cross winds, other large vehicles passing and poor road conditions. Here is what we did to greatly improve the driveability of our RV Extras Added to our Georgetown 36B5 1) A steering stabilizer was added to help keep the steering on track 2) Another additional heavy duty sway bar was added to reduce the the body's desire to roll 3) A Trac Bar was added to help keep the RV running true. I believe this may have been the best thing we could have done. With all of the above extras added our Georgetown became much nicer to drive. Now this 8' foot wide RV doesn't drive like a car but the white knuckles days of fighting to keep the vehicle in it's lane are gone. In fact with all of the above improvements trips are now enjoyable and the driver can now enjoy the scenery along the way. Like I said we lived in this RV for 2 years and since I work from the road and required a internet connection a lot was done to help improve the RVs connection to the internet. A high gain cellular antenna was added along with a 4g amp to help improve the RVs ability to connect to the internet. Another feature we added was a Wingrad ConnecT 2. This unit will provide a hot spot for WiFi connections when it is connected to a cellular provider (We used AT

We love our 2018 Forest River Georgetown 5 Series GT5 31L5. This is the perfect gas motorhome. This is our second Forest River Class A. 31L5 is the best floor plan out there for a 34 footer. we have researched dozens of models. It has the largest open space inside, the slides come out farther then any other model. Fireplace is great for making you feel very at home. When in the snow the fireplace is the best for providing heat and does not use propane. you can leave your boots and gloves to dry and be ready for the next day. Largest water holding compared to other Class A for dry camping. The best cabinet and furniture colors. Most other new Class A cabinet/Flooring and Furniture colors look always dated. Full Paint Model is the best then colored fiberglass.

bought new 2018 has been in the shop a dozen times leaks, wrong cushions for fold out bed, water tank wont fill syphons out when you try to fill, refrigerator has been replaced, slides keep braking when extended, shower flooded the entire floor, drawers you cant use because closets cover them, battery box with acid from batteries that keep overcharging, leak in bathroom window, water coming in on floor after extended and slide back in, window shades that roll up past the roller. I think you get the drift, going back to the shop today.

What a piece of junk!! Chassis built in 2016 but unit titled as 2019?? Generator did not work on delivery and still does not work reliably because it shuts down after a few minutes of running. Sink drains leaked on first use because they were snapped of from tightening them too tight at the factory. there is no insulation in the entire unit!! Whats with that!!??!?! Walls are made with what seems to be cardboard and will not not support the towel racks or TP holders. Refrigerator does not work - it runs but nothing stays cold or freezes in the freezer. they told me it has to run for 24 hrs but it has been running constantly for weeks. I wish I could undo this purchase!!
