We have owned our 2010 Pulse for nine years now and this has been the best engineered and built RV we have ever owned. This is our third motorized RV, we downsized from a 38' diesel pusher and have loved every minute. The build quality of the coach has been pretty much maintenance free and the interior is still like new. We have found the storage to be more than adequate, which was a big concern. The Dodge/Mercedes chassis has been flawless, just standard maintenance has all that been required. I would highly recommend one of these, even at fourteen years old now.

We have had this since new, bought at general rv in Tampa. After we bought it and were getting a walk through. The wind blew the the retraction arm of the door. That took a month to fix. Then after a few trips the front section of the driver side slide started causing trouble. So three trips later to lazy days in Tampa to get it fixed. The last time they had to talk to fleetwood just before the warranty expired. They had to remove the slide to fix it. Then the pandemic hit and there was a recall on the hydrolics for the rv. It was 4 months before they could look at it. Then 2-3 weeks for approval and parts. So this I our first trip in almost 3 years. Now when the slide is extended and you look down behind the couch you can see light. By far the worst rv we have ever had. We bought this on the reputation of fleetwood products. Now the tv’s don’t work correctly and the slide is still messed up are the floor is getting tore up. Fleetwood has not been willing to fix any of these continuing problem as the warranty was up after they pulled the slide out to fix the front mount. Never again, back to open range trailer for me except I have to pay this off first. For the kind of money and the fleetwood reputation, this was a really bad choice. Open Range you listening!

This model is based on an E-450 chassis which made good sense when looking at the weight of it and size. We liked the floor plan and for just the two of us it was quite livable. The overall quality is very good except for a few issues. When we purchased this unit in April 2019 and while we took a short test drive and didn't discover that handling wasn't good. After buying we found it wandered a lot going down the highway and had to be constantly corrected. The most irritating aspect was that when a steering correction was put in, it started to turn but then wanted to keep turning so 3-4 hours driving was exhausting. After considerable research I applied the best solutions I could find, and found my problems were common to a lot of E-450 Class-C owners. First upgrade was HEAVY Duty anti-sway bars, front and rear, and a Heavy Duty steering stabilizer. While those helped a lot they didn't cure the tracking problem. The unit still required constant steering input to go straight, so the next fix found was having the Caster changed with bushings and alignment to put as much in as possible. With all those changes I was able to do an 8 hour day's driving and not feel exhausted. The dealer who sold me the unit forgot to tell me more than a few things about the unit, and I failed to look for them, so $$$s later... We blew a tire after driving the unit only 400 miles, so - 6 new tires while on a trip. Completed this trip without any more problems. The next trip was from San Antonio to Columbus Ohio for the Pumpkin Festival. The RV only made it to Birmingham Alabama where it blew the main bearings on the engine at 26,800 miles!? Everyone we talked to stated "That doesn't happen" but it did to us. So leaving the RV at a Ford dealership while they installed the new engine, we disconnected our 2018 MKX, took all of our things needed for the trip to Ohio in it, and finished that part of the trip. The cause of death for the engine was an incorrect oil filter that not only was the wrong kind but was badly undersized. We picked up the RV on the way back from Ohio and drove it home. Fuel mileage was better right off the bat. Towing the MKX with this unit has been a breeze. For the most part I don't even know it's there. The 3 camera system that I installed allows me to see the TOAD and totally eliminates blind spots on both sides. The star reduction for livability is due to the gawd awful noise the A/C makes when it's running. You can't hear the TV even with amplified speakers, so we switched to Bluetooth earphones with noise canceling.

She has a great floorplan that is spacious and easy to use as well as inverter and residential fridge with ice maker (a godsend). The VE450 with V10 is strong and averages about 7 mpg. The underneath storage is fantastic for a class C. All around, we are thrilled with our RV and recommend it.

We did a lot of shopping around and looking at different floor plans and found our dream motorhome in our 2008 Fleetwood Pulse. Simply stated, we love it. Sure there were a few bugs to work out at first. We wanted to make sure it was safe so we bought all new tires. We had some initial problems with an EGR valve but once that was solved we have logged about 30K fun miles. Its easy to drive and easy to tow a car behind. Me, my wife (also known as the navigator) and our dog Izzy have been on a lot of fun trips. I cant imagine needing anything bigger. With gas being expensive we really enjoy our give or take 16 miles per gallon. I cant say enough positive things about our home on wheels!

I currently drive a Fleetwood Icon on several trips throughout the USA annually. I love this motorhome. It is the perfect size. You can take it anywhere, yet it is very roomy due to the large slideout. You will not need a dingy. I love the rear bath model. I don't like corner beds due to the fact they they are very inconvenient to use and hard to make up. I don't like overhead beds since they are hard to access. My beds are the sofa, which makes a double bed (RV Queen), and the dinette which makes a single bed. The suspension is not great and it can be a little bouncy at times. We have driven this coach about 40K of the 68K miles on it. We have plenty of miles to go since it has a Mercedes engine which runs like new.

The Motorhome drives great and we really liked the larger bathroom and the hallway bypassing the bathroom to the back bedroom. The Bedroom and Living Room large slide really added to the space. The overhead queen and beds from the dinette and sofa really added sleeping space. This basement model has tons of space and one that is a "seethru" bay. The Ford Chassis and Triton V-10 has been very reliable as we owned another vehicle with the same chassis and engine - never had a problem for the 8 years that we owned that Class C. It is ready to go anywhere and we just finished a 2,000 mile trip with 2 adults and 3 kids.
