Seasonal package a joke...zero insulation in floor! China bomb tires blow out after 1000 miles, causing major repairs. Basically a piece of JUNK. Have gone to 3 dealerships for repairs, most incompetent industry ever. Don't waste your time and money. Will be getting rid of it for sure!

Hello; 2017 Forest River Heritage Glen hyper lyt 299. Bad news; Only 4 trips out and we are out over $2000.00. First, all tip outs leaked, repaired. 2nd trip, electronic controller for schwintec was in stalled under bathroom sink, leak shorted it,, $800. Next; trip to eastern Washington in the heat, all 4 (4 ply oem) separated. $760.00 for 10 ply tires. 4th trip, fresh water drain hose managed to work its way down low enough to become a syphon on the road. We get to RV site, fresh water that was full is empty, $265 repair. Going to sell and buy something else, cant afford $700 or so for a trip of one or 2 days.

Hello, bought unit a year old with very little use the salesman said and the interior showed like new. 1) major leaks during the rains in all three tip outs. Dealer repaired. However, lots of very wet personal gear. 2) First trip,,, bedroom tip-out control was on the floor UNDER the bathroom sink, improperly installed pipe leaked, shorted controller...$800.00 to get tip out in so we could leave the RV park. 3)Next trip, to hot pavements of Eastern Wahington, all 4 of the 4 ply tires tread separated, $850.00 for tires and tow truck to change the first blow out. Tires at 4 ply from factory should be 8 ply or 10. 4) Full fresh water tanks empty in 3 hours !! Turns out the hose was installed by factory too deep and it became a syphon. $250.00 repair. Other problems that I wont bore you with. Factory support zero.zero help. Never buy the forest river brand again.

I purchased this new from dealer in Windsor CT. It was delivered to my seasonal campsite by dealer. The trailer craftsmanship is extremely poor. When I first entered the trailer after delivery, note that the slider between the bedroom and bathroom was dragging on the floor. The slide was not properly secured to the ceiling. The shower stall was not properly installed. Every time I showered, water leaked out form under the door frame onto the floor. Repeated caulking and waterproof tape did not fix the problem. The toilet paper holder is located in such a place that every time one walks by the toilet into the living area, they hit the holder. The holder screws pulled right out of the wall. There was no secure backing, just drywall to hold it. the front door lock mechanism was defective. The biggest issue for me was that every time the AC was turned on, water drained into the ceiling and found its way down the framing for the door between the bathroom and living area. I had a repairman up to the campground twice to look for the problem and to fix the shower. No avail. Dealer was finally was told to come get trailer and determine the problems. They claimed the AC was not properly bolted to trailer and they had to remove it, reseal it and bolt it back to roof. They also claimed to have dried out the water in the ceiling. No way to know. The shower stall also had to be removed and reinstalled. Neither Forest River or dealer would entertain replace the trailer. I have to live with fact that there is or maybe hidden water damage leading to mold and mildew in the future.

We loved the floor plan after looking at many others so we decided to buy this. Ever since the purchase it's been down hill. After getting it home, I found a patch on my roof. The dealership said it was done at factory, contacted factory they said no way was that our patch it's the wrong color. Why would my brand new fifth wheel have a patch? Nobody knows how it got there. First camping trip, had to rewire the rear jacks. The wire crimps fell off during the drive. Second trip, pulled through rain. Got to the campsite and the floor was soaked due to no seal above the wheel well in slide unit. Third trip, every bug finds a way into the trailer. I'll update if all was covered by warranty after it is fixed as I'm building a list of things that have gone wrong/been broken or missing.
