Our 2017 Forest River Sandpiper 377FLIK 5th wheel is wonderful! It tows like it's not even there, the auto leveler is great & easy to work. The inside is beautiful & so comfortable & roomy. The upgraded refrigerator is beautiful & all the excess storage is so great to have. I found a place for everything we needed to bring along...plus some things we could have left home. This is a wonderful 5th wheel to camp part time for vacations & for full-time campers.

We finally got RV the belly pan was hanging, got charged warranty to fix, they came three times to fix flap on toilet, OUR AIR CONDITIONING HAS NEVER WORKED. HAD ABOUT 6 REPAIR PEOPLE COME OUT NEVER REPAIRED< ALL WE ENDED UP WITH IS CEILING MARKS WHERE THE BRACES ARE AND THE SCREWS OR NAIILS SHOW UP>DUE to worker stomping on roof. WE HAD PRIVATE REPAIRMAN FIX ALL AROUND WINDOWS AND ROOF MARKS> . Also the back skin has been wrinkling more every year, also other places now too.. the recliner chairs were replaced in 2 years then again WE FINALLY BOUGHT OUR OWN chairs. NEVER BUY FROM FORREST RIVER , or if YOU GET A SANPIPER> PUKES O'CONNERS for not standing up to dealers warranties

We love the layout of our camper. You would think paying $60,000 for a camper it would be built to last NOT. We bought it new in 2018 it is now 2021 so all this happed in 3 years. We have only used it 12 times hauled literally 9 miles from our house to the camp ground. The first year front lift jack leaking twice. Second year bunkhouse slide cylinder had to be replaced. Brought it home from the camper place and the living room slide went out same day. I had to change the cylinder out in it. Front jack leaking again. Now our rear ac is leaking when it rains. Had a gasket put on first time. Two months later Started leaking again. Contacted Forest river they sent our parts to change. Had it installed at a camper place. 3 months later It is leaking again. I have someone coming out to my house again today 3/2/2021 after work to see if he can fix it. Also buttons and lights on the waist tank stoped working after the first year. My ice maker stoped working a month ago. This is the 3rd forest river camper we have purchased new. I will not make that mistake again. I still owe $50,000 on it. It makes me sick to look at it.I am very disappointed with this camper. Thank you for taking time to read this. Byron Winchester

Our purchase of the 389RD began like every other unit we bought new. Lots of "issues" that had to be corrected by the dealer. All of ours were under warranty and we had no issues with warranty payment. Some of the items were design issues that someone should have know, like wrong size breaker for the landing gear. After a few trips to the dealer, we were finally up to where we needed to be on day one. We have now had the unit an additional 1+ years and no problems. Love the space, wife loves the residential refrigerator and pantry the light from the sliding patio door is great. Ours has a few upgrades that make it more comfy like King size bed, 2nd AC and 2nd TV, it sure makes "glamping" more fun......

Very comfortable to stay in. More than enough storage, and kids loved the extra bunkroom. Layout is great for multiple people/small family or if you need a lot of storage. Quality of workmanship is good and straightforward. Highly recommend, would definitely purchase again.... read more
