Bought our 2014 itasca meridian used with 15,000 miles. Have had it for over a year now and put about 6,000 miles on it. When we first bought the coach, I had to fix some minor issues, outside porch light and some small interior decorative work. I know a year of ownership and 6000 miles is not much but the coach has performed flawlessly. Rides great and everything has worked well. The interior appears to be build very sturdy and feels like you are in a tough and well built coach. We had the yellow “ check engine “ light come on, the fright liner information display immediately gave me the fault code, quick google search revealed it’s the EGR sensor, nothing serious or immediate to worry about. If you are in the market for a used coach and can find a nice itasca meridian, judging from my experience, buy it. One last thing. The split bathroom plan, toilet and sink in one room and shower and sink in the other room sucks. They are both very small, that’s the only drawback to this coach. So I gave it a 3 in livability.

What we very much liked about this RV was the livability of the interior. Over a few months it truly became home. We have been married for 25 years and became even closer during this grand adventure. What we became aware of as our adventure unfolded was that the coach (not the chassis) needed constant up keep. It would seem all systems constantly break down. According to the RV (towable or self propelled) owners we spoke with all manufactures simply do not seem concerned about the issue, and the service elements of the industry are not capable of meeting the need in a timely manner. In summary we learned a lot about the USA and each other and would not trade the experiences for anything.

Lived in our 2014 Itasca for three wonderful years of full-timing. Loved the floor plan. Husband had room in bays to take everything he owned! Including his craft saws. Galley slide was an issue at first. Winnebago worked with us until it was right. No issues after they replaced the Lippert component. We traveled across the US coast to coast, border to border several times problem free. The 3 ac's kept us cool in the desert. The heat pump/furnace/fireplace kept us warm in all degrees of cold. The L-shaped living room configuration gives a feeling of separation between living room and kitchen. The shower is bigger than any I've seen in any other unit. Many potential full-timers ask about living in such a small space. With the Itasca, we both seemed to have our own space...and then there was the outside entertainment area!
