The HDMI cable connectors come apart without an easy fix. There is no way to pull the cables through to replace the cables. It is obviusly a vendor problem with Tiffin Phaeton product.

I had a problem with my engine about 3100 miles ago and the extended warranty would not cover this. I went back to Dealer and he paid $34,000 for a full rebuild through my local Cummins dealer warranty is available. Beautiful coach I had so much fun in it. Make sure you have a membership with Sam's club and I also belonged to KOA both have very nice campgrounds.

We have really enjoyed the motorhome! It is a comfortable ride, spacious and the layout is comfortable. Plenty of storage, in the kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms. Having a half bath in the middle is ideal for guests....

We purchased this rig used with 7200 miles on it in 12/13. We chose the QKH (bunks) floorplan so we had extra sleeping capacity when needed. The main problem with this floorplan is the small bathroom and a very narrow hallway with slides in.
Overall, the coach runs and tows well. We typically tow either a Chevy Suburban or Avalanche, both heavy loads and have no problems other than slowing down on mountain grades. We typically get between 8.2 - 9 MPG towing or not.
We've had to repair a few things (slide motor, basement door latches, cracked sidewall) and when working on the coach I am NOT impressed with general fit n' finish and attention to detail. For example, the slide motor for the bunk slide (rear street side) failed because the wire to the motor is just hanging from the top of the slide to the basement, without any tie-downs or cable ties - so the wires pulled off the motor due to tension.
Tiffin's tech support department is great - once you get through to them. The guys on the phone are helpful and knowledgeable, although it's clear that a lot of things change during a model year and you have to really know what you're looking at before talking to them.
Overall, we're happy with the coach. I'm not sure we'd consider another Tiffin considering our experience, but we'll reserve judgement until we have a chance to visit Red Bay.
