First time RV buyer, I chose this one for the floorplan. It was 3 yrs old. like new and I have had ZERO issues after 3 1/2 yrs, traveling back and forth to Florida. I did buy a five year warranty to cover mechanicals. Everybody thinks new is better but give me an older model; they were built much better... read more

I had never stayed in a fifth wheel before I bought my 2012 Alpine, I was going all in becoming a full timer. I looked at alot of floorplans and this one was perfect. I found it used at a dealer 200 mi away. Drove up, looked at it, spent the night in it and bought it. I've owned it now three and one half years and only glitch was the auto level had to be replaced but covered under an extended warranty.I consider myself very fortunate to have bought this older model when I hear all the problems people who have bought newer(2016 and up) campers ( from many different manufacturers).

The size is perfect for trips or full timers. The quality is excellent and holds up to long trips like many many RVs cannot. This RV is rated to be able to handle zero degrees and the basement will keep the plumbing lines and tanks from excessive cold. The fireplace is beautiful and toasty. We use it instead of our LP Furnace much of the time. The heat pump also is a great substitute for using LP. The storage is unbelievable....We take fishing supplies, outdoor cooking supplies, lots of art supplies, chilly weather clothing or summer clothing...an assortment of tools for 'just in case' and the basement has room to spare! The built in vacuum is wonderful. The sofa opens up to make a guest bed...that is incredibly comfortable. It has an air mattress that has its own ele pump. There is storage under the sofa for its bedding or whatever! Our guest used it and was thrilled with the comfort of the bed. The work area of the kitchen is generous and easy to clean. The refrigerator has four doors and holds a families worth of food not like some smaller ones! There is even storage in the dining chair bottoms and the table! Of course under the bed there is extensive storage...for ?? We have flotation jackets and extra blankets and other bulky things we would not use often. There is a lot of outlets and a really efficient AC system with duel AC's one in bedroom and one in LR. The shower is generous and good looking. It is easy to hook and even easier to tow. Road conditions or wind don't affect it....a semi passing? Never a bobble. The Huskey 26000 roller hitch is adjustable so that a tight turn is easy as pie! The holding tanks are generous so you don't have to 'dump' or fill fresh water often. The four slides make the living space feel like a studio apartment and do not leak. The awning is electric so retracting it is easy. The microwave is also a browning convection and the range's oven is super. The stove vents to the outside so steam and heat are removed. The TV in the LR is large and excellent. It retracts into the console behind the fireplace for those times you are traveling or just want to change the look. The cabinetry is cherry finished wood and tasteful as is the wallpaper around the rig. The day/night shades are a beige and dk beige for sunlight or privacy. The ceiling fan is lighted for additional illumination...and the fan is so comfortable on those days you have the windows open and want to kick back in your recliner and nap. When we are parked for a few days or more, we move the sofa where the recliners are and the recliners where the sofa typically sits....when time to hit the road? We put them back in their typical places for travel. They slide into place easily with furniture gliding disc under them. We like that arrangement better. This RV is truly a home...it meets most anyone's needs and is a dependable, attractive RV. Like any RV there is wear and tear....but nothing offensive and any issues have been remedied. For instance we replaced the roof when we got a tear in it from an over hanging branch...when we could have just patched it. We have taken care of this fifth wheel and it has always had professional maintenance. We want to be able to say in excellent condition and mean it! We are serious sellers. $43,000 is a price well below other similar rigs. We want to do something else and are not interested in holding out for the last dollar! When shopping please consider size, year and model when comparing them to us. This is a one owner RV. Health has changed our direction and it is time to let some other family have the benefit of our purchase!
